North Medwyn is a river in Lanarkshire.
The North Medwin rises at the edge of the Pentland Hills, close to Tarbrax on the county border with Midlothian. From here it flows generally southwards and south-west.
The North Medwin joins the South Medwin just a mile from the River Clyde, in an area of wild meanders known as "The Meetings", in which landscape the united river, now known as the Medwin Water, finally enters the Clyde.
