Île Yeye is an island at the north-eastern corner Peros Banhos, a coral ring atoll in the British Indian Ocean Territory. This is the island of the Chagos Archipelago that is closest to the Maldives: the distance between Île Yeye and Gan Island in the latter group is 325 miles.
The submerged portion of the long reef platform from which Yeye emerges stretches westward (emerging again as Île Animaux) and a long way southward towards Petite Île Coquillage.
