Not to be confused with Nigg Bay in Easter Ross
Nigg Bay in Aberdeen is located on the coast of Kincardineshire, on the edge of Aberdeen, just south of the mouth of the River Dee (which forms the county border) and separated from the rivermouth only by the headland of Girdle Ness.
Industry
Aberdeen Harbour is in the mouth of the Dee, but it is a busy industrial port, and the company that runs the port are planning to develop the Nigg Bay into a new commercial harbour to fill their need for more room. They will make improvements to the local infrastructure as they do so.[1] [2]
