The Main Vista at The Yorkshire Arboretum

The Yorkshire Arboretum is an arboretum of 128 acres lying in the grounds of Castle Howard, west of Malton in the North Riding of Yorkshire.

The arboretum is run as a joint enterprise between the Castle Howard Estates and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.[1]

Originating in 1959,[2] the arboretum comprises more than 6,000 trees, including some that are rare or endangered,[3] across a site of 128 acres.[4]
