The Quair Water is a tributary of the River Tweed in the east of Peeblesshire. The village of Traquair is named from the river.
The river begins in a number of burns running off the fells in the south-east of the county, and runs northwards, then north-eastwards. The Cross Borders Drove Road long-distance walking route follows up the river for a few miles, before heading up Kirkhope Law and on to Peebles. The river runs down to Traquair, then soon after Traquair House it enters the River Tweed, opposite Innerleithen.
