Ascents

The mountain is normally climbed in conjunction with A' Bhuidheanach Bheag, which is at the opposite end of the plateau. Carn na Caim itself is a large, rounded hill with little in the way of distinguishing features. The summit itself only just rises above the level of the plateau making it hard to find the true summit in misty conditions.

The prettiest aspects to the hill are the small corries which cut into the north slopes and sharp gullies that run down the western edge of the plateau.
