Bigbury Bay is a broad bay on the south coast of Devon, between the Bolt Tail in the south-east and Revelstoke in the north-west, open to the English Channel. Two noted South Devon rivers enter the bay: the River Erme in the west and the Devon Avon to the east.
The shore of the bay is largely rocky, with a few beaches, the main beach being the broad sands at the mouth of the Avon.
