Wilson Rock

Wilson Rock rises to about 590 feet above sea-level between Freezland Rock and Grindle Rock off Turmoil Point, a northern headland of Bristol Island one of the South Sandwich Islands.
The rock was charted by Discovery Investigations in 1930 and named after Brigadier General Sir Samuel Herbert Wilson (1873-1950), Permanent Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies 1925-33.
