Wigginton is a hamlet in western Shropshire, a mile south-east of St Martins, and just north of the Llangollen Canal. It is two miles south-east of the River Dee, which marks the border of Denbighshire.
A subsidiary hamlet, Upper Wigginton, stands at the meeting of lanes just north of the main cluster of cottages.
