West Barns is a small village in East Lothian. It lies 2 miles west of Dunbar and approximately 28 miles east of Edinburgh. It is close to the John Muir Country Park and Belhaven Bay.
The village pub is the West Barns Inn. There is a John Deere manufacturer in the village too.
The local amateur football team is West Barns Star.
