Water Oakley is a hamlet on the River Thames beside Bray in Berkshire.
The Bray Studios stand in Water Oakley, as does the Oakley Court Hotel.
The hamlet first appeared on maps around 1800, but its name is older, from the Old English ac leah which means "Oak Meadow'. Local folklore suggests a Saxon church there was demolished around 1293 to build St Michael's Church in Bray.
