Water-cum-Jolly Dale is a short, scenic dale on the River Wye in the Peak District, in Derbyshire. It is found close to Cressbrook Mill.
The is one of a series of dales along the course of the Wye and is upstream of Monsal Dale, and downstream of Litton Mill and of Millers Dale. Here the river runs broad through a deep and beauteous ravine of limestone cliffs rising out of the water.
The view from Monsal Head is one of the most famed in Derbyshire, not all of natural beauty, as to looks down into Monsal Dale and the span of the Monsal Viaduct, and down to Cressbrook.
