You can post any ideas on my Talk page, or I put an e-mail address on your MediaWiki page - quick before I delete it for privacy reasons. Infoboxes are used heavily on Wikishire and they work rather differently from those on W'pedia: there is more programming behind the infoboxes on Wikishire so that they can deal with categorisation etc.
On MediaWiki you said you are doing an independent wiki, and I believe you discussed with Owain the maps (which are all Owain's work and utterly brilliant). What are you hoping to achieve with your wiki?
Incidentally, are you the chap in Stevenston? Coincidentally, that is the home town of the flag company we have been getting county flags from. (No sign yet of an Ayrshire County Flag emerging.)
