Upton Marshes
The Upton Marshes, otherwise known as Upton Fen, lie north and east of Upton Broad, a little lake of the Norfolk Broads.
The marshes are north of Upton in Norfolk, in a curve in the course of the River Bure. The highest point of the fen is shown on an Ordnance Survey map with the small ring of a zero contour line - sea level.
The fen may be delimited by the Fleet Dyke in the west (which links South Walham Broad to the Bure, and beyond which lie the Ranworth Marshes), and in the south-east by the dyke linking Upton to the river.
The woodland around Uption Broad itself is known as "The Doles".
This is a drained fen, but retaining a good deal of wetland displaying a range of broadland wildlife.
Nature reserve
Upton Broad and Marshes are maintained as a nature reserve in the care of Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Notable species found on the reserve include:

- Insects:
- Norfolk Hawker dragonfly
- Swallowtail butterfly
