Information |
The Manor House is a grade II* listed house in Chipperfield, in south-western Hertfordshire. There was a house here from the late Middle Ages but it was rebuilt, possibly in the Elizabethan Age for Thomas Gulston. The current appearance is later; it was altered and fronted in brick for John Marriott in 1714-16, which makes the frontage early Georgian.[1][2] The staircase was installed at the same time.
