Water of Deugh

The Water of Deugh is the major tributary of the Water of Ken in Kirkcudbrightshire.

The Deugh rises on the county's border with Ayrshire, on the north slopes of Windy Standard, and flows north-west around and into the Carsphairn Forest, swelling and heading south-westwards through Kirkcudbrightshire amongst the Carsphairn Hills, below which it joins the Ken. (Read more)
