Scotia SeaThe Scotia Sea is a sub-Antarctic sea where the Southern Ocean and the South Atlantic Ocean meet. It extends between the southern tip of the South American continent and the British territories of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands and the South Orkney Islands and Graham Land, the latter within the British Antarctic Territory. The Falkland Islands lie a little to the north of the accepted bounds of this sea. (Read more) |
