Narberth

Narberth is a small town in Pembrokeshire. It was founded around the court of a Welsh prince, but later became a Norman stronghold on the cultural divide between the Welsh-speaking and English-speaking populations for Pembrokeshire.

In mythology, Narberth was the chief palace of Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed in the Mabinogion. The modern town is a place of attractions, with a ruined castle, art galleries, and the Narberth Museum in the old town hall, which contains the cell where the leaders of the Rebecca Riots were imprisoned.
