Market Deeping Market Deeping is a market town in Kesteven, Lincolnshire, on the north bank of the River Welland, which here forms the border with Northamptonshire. This the second largest of The Deepings, a group of villages hereabouts, many bearing the "Deeping" name (one of which, Deeping St James., sits across the river in Northamptonshire).
