King's WaldenKing's Walden is a small village in the midst of Hertfordshire. It gives its name too to a wider parish centred on the village and encompassing a number of hamlets round about, the largest village of the parish being Breachwood Green. The parish church is St Mary's, which has a rare intact rood screen, with mediaeval painting. Its stained glass windows are by the father of the arts and crafts movement, William Morris. (Read more) |
