Carnedd Gwenllian Carnedd Gwenllian is a minor summit of the Carneddau range in Snowdonia, in Caernarfonshire, which still climbs to 3,038 feet and provides distant views which can extend as far away as Ulster and the Isle of Man. The original name of the peak was "Y Garnedd Uchaf" ("the highest cairn"): it was named "Carnedd Gwenllian ("Gwenllian's Cairn") after a campaign by The Princess Gwenllian Society. (Read more)
