Tamnamore is a small village in Tyrone, beside exit 14 on the M1 motorway, four miles east of Dungannon, within the townland of Tamlaghtmore in the Barony of Dungannon Middle,
The village has a goodly range of local shops, a post office, places to eat and a hotel.
The name of the village is from the Gaelic An Tamhnach Mhór, meaning 'The large field'.[1]
Tamnamore Roundabout connects the M1 motorway with the roads to Coalisland, Derrytresk, Maghery and The Moy.
