Kincardine-on-Forth has been placed back in Perthshire. The standard used by Wikishire is the Historic Counties Standard, according to which places are described by their historic county and not by later administrative areas, irrespective of whether those areas were labelled 'counties' by Parliament. Accordingly, Kincardine is in a detached part of Perthshire. RB 23:34, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- Where are you getting the idea that it's in Perthshire? Your own interactive map even lists Kincardine-on-Forth as being in Fife. Zacwill16 19:48, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
- The interactive map does need a few tweaks, certainly. It has not got the detached parts on it yet, but the Historic Counties Trust is working on that. The best maps to refer to on this are the OS maps published by the National Library of Scotland - Kincardine is on this one. RB 21:27, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
