Tacolneston is a little village in Norfolk. The 2011 census recorded its population as 825.

The name of the village appears in the 1086 Domesday Book as Tacoluestuna and is theorized to come from the Old English Tatwulfes tun, meaning "Tutwulf's farmstead".

The parish church, All Saints, dates from the 14th century, with later additions. It has a ring of six bells in its tower.[1][2]
