Strumpshaw Hill is the highest area of land in the Norfolk Broads, rising over the landscape to 151 feet above sea level.
On the slope of this vertiginous eminence stands the little village of Strumpshaw, on its north slope. To the south, all at sea level, runs the River Yare, on its way to the sea at Great Yarmouth.
