Steepholm is one of the Robertson Islands, a group of small islands off Coronation Island in the South Orkney Islands of the British Antarctic Territory. Steepholm lies between Matthews Island and Skilling Island.
The group of three small islands immediately south of Matthews Island were charted by Sørlle in 1912-13, and called descriptively Bratholm, later corrected to Brattholmene ('the steep islets'). Following survey by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Signy in 1948-49, the southernmost and largest of the three islands was named 'Steepholm'.
