Southwood is a hamlet in Norfolk found ten miles east of Norwich. In 1931 the parish had a population of 40.[1]
It has a church called St Edmund which is in ruins.[2][3]
Southwood Hall is a post mediæval great house[4] and serves as a wedding venue.[5]
History
The name "Southwood" means 'South wood'.[6] Southwood was recorded in the Domesday Book as Sudw(a)da/Suthuide/Sutwde.
