South Scarle is a village in the east of Nottinghamshire, nestled up against the border of Lincolnshire. It to the east of the tidal River Trent, and halfway between Lincoln to the north-east and Newark on Trent to the south-west.
The parish church is St Helena's.
The village has a community centre,[1] a post office / general store.
