South Bersted is a village in Sussex, which forms part of the built-up area of Bognor Regis. The village is on the A259 and A29 roads a mile north of the town centre.
The parish church, St Mary Magdalene, is mainly of the 13th century, including the tower. The church began as a chapel of ease, within the parish of Pagham. A separate parish of South Bersted was created by 1465, which included Bognor.[1] The church is a Grade II* listed building.[2]
