Shillingford St George is a village in the south-east of Devon, just outside the county town; the City of Exeter. It is about three miles south of the city.
The village is in the Haldon Hills south-west of Exeter, with Clapham less than a mile to the south-west and Shillingford Abbot the same distance to the north-east, beyond which runs the A30 trunk road carved through the hills and beyond it Exeter’s southern suburb, Alphington.
