Shereford is a small village in Norfolk, in the north of the county, about two and a half miles west of its nearest market town, Fakenham, standing on the east bank of the River Wensum facing Dunton across the river. In 1931 the parish had a population of 97.

The villages name means 'Bright/clear ford'.[1]

The parish church, St Nicholas, is one of 124 existing round-tower churches in Norfolk.
