Sheet's Heath Common

Sheet's Heath Common lies near Brookwood in Surrey. The common is a compact extent of heathland to the north of Brookwood, on the north side of the Basingstoke Canal, tucked between Bisley shooting centre to the west and Woking to the east.
The area has been designated a 'Site of Special Scientific Interest', and is part of the larger Colony Bog and Bagshot Heath SSSI. It is also part of the Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection area, a network of sites protected for their ground nesting birds.[1]
