Saxlingham Nethergate is a village in the south of Norfolk, about nine miles south of Norwich.
The wider civil parish had a recorded population of 688 at the 2011 Census.
The [[Church of England parish church, St Mary is built in the Decorated Gothic style, with a chancel, nave and square west tower with a ring of eight bells. In 1867 the church was thoroughly restored, the nave enlarged, a vestry added and a stained glass window inserted in the tower: several of the other windows are stained glass.
Sport and recreation
The recreation ground in the village hosts the cricket pitch and bowls club, and the 43rd Saxlingham Nethergate Scout Group.
