Saltby is a village and ancient parish in Leicestershire, adjacent to the border with Lincolnshire. It lies close to the River Eye, which flows to the west of the village. Since 1936 Saltby has formed part of the civil parish of Sproxton.

The village includes the former RAF Saltby. The 13th to 15th-century parish church of St Peter is a Grade-II* listed building.[1]

Nearby places are Waltham on the Wolds, Croxton Kerrial, Coston, Buckminster, and Skillington (in Lincolnshire).
