Roxby (formerly Rousby) is a village in the North Riding of Yorkshire, near Staithes.
The population of the civil parish was estimated at 120 in 2014.
Roxby was historically a township in the parish of Hinderwell.[1]
The parish church, St Nicholas, was built in the 17th century on the site of an earlier church. It is a Grade II listed building.[2] It includes family tombs of the Boynton baronets.
