Rae Loch is a small lowland freshwater loch that lies directly to the east of Loch of Drumellie into which its waters flow, a mile and a half to the west of Blairgowrie in Perthshire.<ref">"Rae Loch". http://www.britishlakes.info/23556-rae-loch-tayside. Retrieved 25 March 2019.</ref>
The loch is a designated 'Site of Special Scientific Interest', as well as forming part of a 'Special Area of Conservation'.[1]
