Pleasant Peak is a hill amongst the Wickham Heights of East Falkland, in the Falkland Islands. It rises two miles north of RAF Mount Pleasant.[1]
On 6 June 1982 during the Falklands War, Pleasant Peak was the site of a friendly fire incident, when HMS Cardiff engaged and destroyed a British Army Gazelle helicopter, killing all four occupants, thinking it was an enemy aircraft flying supplies to the Argentine forces.
