Pentridge Hill is a little hill rising to 607 feet above sea level half a mile south-east of Pentridge at the eastern edge of Dorset: the border with Wiltshire is along the Bokerley Ditch which runs along the eastern slope of the hill.

The hill looks down upon Cranborne Chase, the broad plain the north and west, where there are found a Roman road and an ancient cursus, while on Pentridge hill itself are a hill fort, known as Penbury Knoll,[1] and a series of tumuli, believed to be burial mounds.
