Oswestry Rural

Oswestry Rural is a civil parish in Shropshire that corresponds broadly to the rural parts of the ancient parish of Oswestry. It is situated south of Oswestry itself, and extends from the border with Denbighshire in the west. It covers an area of 24 square miles and has a population measured at 4,504 in the 2011 census[1]

The parish includes the villages of Rhydycroesau, Trefonen, Morda, Maesbury, and various other hamlets including Treflach, Whitehaven, Tyn-y-coed, Croesau Bach, Ball and Aston Square.
