Norton-le-Clay is a village in the North Riding of Yorkshire. It stands near the A1(M) motorway, 2 miles northwest of Boroughbridge.
Norton-le-Clay is one of the Thankful Villages; those few and far between which suffered no loss of their men during the Great War of 1914 to 1918.
