North Camp is a hamlet forming a suburb of Farnborough by the eastern border of Hampshire. It covers most of the southern part of the town, adjoining Aldershot Military Town as part of the conurbation of towns here.
History
North Camp has been closely linked to both Aldershot and Farnborough for much of its existence. It was originally the Northern Camp of Aldershot Garrison, which was divided by the Basingstoke Canal, hence the name North Camp.[1]
The village has a rainlway station, North Camp Station, on the North Downs Line with trains to Reading and Redhill, and on to Gatwick Airport. The station is half a mile from the village, across the River Blackwater in Ash Vale in Surrey.
