Mount Spaaman is a mountain of 6,365 feet in the north of the Allardyce Range of South Georgia, to the south of the head of Neumayer Glacier and a mile west of the Sørlle Buttress.
The name "Spaaman" is well established in local use. The name is Norwegian and while no precise translation is possible, it means roughly a "weather prophet" or a "fortune-teller". The name arose because the emergence of this mountain from its usual heavy cloud cover is said locally to be a sign of good weather.
