Morestead is a village in the South Downs, about three miles south-east of Winchester, in Hampshire. A mile and a half to the south is a larger village, Owslebury. Morestead is predominantly a farming community and there are racehorse training stables.
The village lies on rising downland adjacent to the ancient Roman road from Portchester to Winchester.
The ancient Parish Church has no known dedication.
