Morcombelake (also spelled Morecombelake) is a small village near Bridport in Dorset, within the ancient parish of Whitchurch Canonicorum.
The village is generally passed through on the A35, a busy tourist road in season, but has its own little delights and has a local fame for Moore's Dorset Shop, a bakery established in 1879 and known as the home of the Dorset knob.[1]
Golden Cap, part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, is nearby.[2]
