Information |
Milton Mill is a decommissioned watermill in Milton, a hamlet on the River Forth near Aberfoyle in Perthshire, It is this mill which gives the hamlet its name.
The mill was built in the 19th century, with later work into the 20th century. It remains as a small, rubble-built building on a T-plan with a louvred kiln-vent. There remains the skeleton of a high-breast wood and iron wheel, 12 feet in diameter and two feet wide. Today it is used as a store.
The mill is a Category C listed building.[1]
