The Merrick Mountains are a cluster of mountains, 8 miles long, standing 7 miles northeast of the Behrendt Mountains in Palmer Land in the British Antarctic Territory. The discovery of these mountains was claimed by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition, 1947–1948, under Finn Ronne, which photographed them from the air

The name was given by the American agency, the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names: they are not named form Merrick in the Southern Uplands but from Conrad G. Merrick, a United States Geological Survey topographic engineer with the Antarctic Peninsula Traverse Party, 1961–1962, who participated in the survey of these mountains.
