Martinsthorpe is a small parish and a deserted village in the county of Rutland. It is located about four miles south of Oakham near the village of Manton (where any population is included).
One uninhabited building remains on the ridge. Originally this was part of the outbuildings of Martinsthorpe Hall, a seat of the Earls of Denbigh, demolished in 1755.
Surrounding parishes are Brooke to the north-east; Gunthorpe to the north; Manton to the east; and Preston and Ridlington to the south.
