Lurganville is a small village and a townland in County Down. It is found in the north of the county, close to the River Lagan, which forms the border with County Antrim.
The name of the townland has historically been written also Lurganavill or Lurganaveel, and is from the Irish Lorgain a' Mhíl, meaning "Long ridge of the hare".[1]
The 2001 census recorded a population of 102 people.
Locally significant buildings include St Colman’s Church, which is a listed building, and the Parochial House.
