Llandyfaelog is a village and parish in Carmarthenshire, situated to the south of the county town, Carmarthen. The A484 road from Carmarthen to Kidwelly passes through the parish. According to the 2001 census it has a population of 1,272.

The parish church is dedicated to St Maelog. It is a Grade-II listed building, constructed of limestone and Old Red Sandstone rubble. It was in the gift of the Lords of the Manor of Kidwelly, who conferred it upon Ewenny Priory in 1139. In 1355-1356 it was transferred to New College, Leicester, but was appropriated by the Bishop of St Davids. The patronage subsequently fell into private hands.
