Llan Ddu Fawr or Waen Claerddu is one of the highest summits in Cardiganshire, found amongst the Cambrian Mountains. It reaches 1,946 feet above sea level and is found about 10 miles south of Plynlimon.
The land surrounding the summit can be very boggy. There is a trig point at the summit.
